Del Wilson

Del Wilson is a certified Kettlebell trainer and personal fitness expert.

He first became a qualified gym instructor in 1989 with a NABBA certified course. Personal training hadn’t really established itself in the UK at that time and at that point Del worked part time at his local gym doing some instruction.

In 2006 Del decided it was about time he shared his passion for all things fitness related and enrolled himself on a FutureFit REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) level 3 certified course. This culminated in a Personal trainer/advanced instructor certificate and a diploma in nutrition and weight management. Other modules included Core stability and Circuit training. Del is also qualified in TRX suspension training, Padbox and kettlebell training and has a level 2 certificate from the Kettlebell Training Academy and holds the prestigious IKFF Certified Kettlebell Trainer certificate. Del has had a lifelong interest in Health and Fitness.

In 1991, Del competed in his first body building event. He won the first timers class beating seven other competitors in the process.

More recently, Del has become involved in kettlebell sport. He has become a World Kettlebell Coach after training with world champion Valery Fedorenko. This certification. Is now being progressed to Specialist Kettlebell Coach and Del will be one of the first people in the UK to hold this prestigious award once he has completed it.

Del has competed in several kettlebell Pentathlons recently and has won on both occasions.
